need help launching this 02 si
ok guys...im getting ready to go to the track to run my bone stock si and i need a few tips and pointers to make sure i run really well...im not a pro at this so help me out!!! if you know the car really well or even own it..that would be even better
what i found out that worked best for me in my 03 SI was taking the car to 4k and as the tree starts to go down slowly start letting the clutch out. as you get to the 3rd yellow the clutch should be at grabbing point. as soon as you feel it grab nail it. i got a 2.3 60 ft time running a short ram intake and cat back exhaust. i'm sure there's plenty of other methods but that worked the best for me. good luck and keep us posted
ok so i rev to 4.. let off the clutch til it goes down to 3 rpm where its supposed to grip...then i floor it??? i have an idea of what you're saying but i dont understnad what you mean by "3rd yellow" dont forget im retarded when it comes to racing!!
anyone else got any techniques???

If you are running stock tires, don't forget to drop the psi down, but only if you have the means to get them aired back up! Someone else can give you advice on how much, but this will be a big factor in your launch.
