I'm running into belt slip and heat problems as is at 10-11psi. If your planning on running that much boost you need to have a way to cool the charge all the time at WOT.

DO NOT run 15psi on an unmodified JRSC. You wont make any power due to the extreme heat and that is suicide for the blower. If you really really want to run that much boost Endyn has a package where you send your blower out to have it reworked. http://www.theoldone.com is the website for more information. Dont have that much money? Well then for now I wouldnt go past 11psi, no power will be made after that. Good Luck.

i wasnt planning on put it on till later this year, winter project maybe becuase i want to put a block brace on the engine, i just got it off my boy its in a 4 door civic and is running 11 psi now, i know about the more heat problem but with tunning and my big fluidyne radiator wont this solve that. i still need to get it tunned for the 11psi right now, i just got the car. im mainly just shoping. do you know anything about the aftercooler systems that jackson racing has come out with, would taht help at all, right now the car doesnt have a heat problem unless running on the highway at high speeds for long time.
it also has an upgraded ingectors fuel pumps and hondata

You might as well go with a turbo if you want 15psi. You would have to find an efficient way to cool the temps on the blower. It will produce alot of heat and stress on the s/c at that boost level. Among other things will be belt slippage. The fluidyne radiator will not help the s/c temps at all.

that was the other thing i was thinking of doing. droping the s/c and going turbo. the engine has je pistons and crowler rods, so basicly all thats left is tunning and head work, the car rips as is and i love it, but no one can ever stop making it better. it's fun. i still have the gsr intake manifold, was thinking of ether sell it or keep for that reason, only time will tell what i do. first thing is getting it tunned for 11 psi. i live in CT know of any GOOD places herrr
