Default Front Crossmember for EG?

Tried searching and found nothing. I know Place Racing makes one with radiator mounts and all for the CRX, but nothing for the EG Civic. Problem was I got hit in the front by a drunk driver, and it bend the core support. I want to just eliminate that instead of re-welding one in, since this is no longer going to be my daily driven car. Problem is, I can't find anyone who makes one. So does anyone know of a front crossmember I can use that will replace the stock core support? Thanks for any info!

BTW If anyone was confused about what I was looking for this is it, but for a CRX. The site shows one for the 92-95 civic, but I called and they don't know about it.

The reason they dont make one of those for the 5th gen civic
is because it dose not have a front crossmember. It is just
the radiator support, right? That was always the one thing I
didnt like about the crx's and the old integras.

Right, but basically I wanted to put a crossmember on it instead of a core support. Does that not make sense? obviously I am not very familiar with that part of the car. I just figured that I could install a crossmember and completly remove my core support. I also found the z10 engineering piece for the EG, if I used that would it work? So to sum it up. If I use the piece pictured below, will that allow me to eliminate the whole core support? Also Is this drastically going to hurt my handling?

basically an EG has no crossmember. nothing goes under the engine to support it, its all on the sides. you could try welding to tubing from the frame to make a rad support.

Performance Engineering (Moroso) makes a traction bar that might work for ya - maybe you could bolt on a braket for the core support?

Hope this helps.

Okay, so excuse my ignorance, but what exactly does the "core support" do? is it basically just a radiator support, or is the support for the whole front of the car (not including the engine). I thought it basically was the support that tied the front end together, hence my reasoning for why I could add a crossmember. Besides, adding that z10 crossmember AKA traction bar(I guess it would better be called traction bar instead of crossmember on an EG), would help me keep the front down anyway.

I dont think traction bars are equivalent to a crossmember. id say you need to keep that whole core support up front unless you have an all out race car because it holds your headlights in place as well.

ok...im trying to cope what you guys are talking about....and yes (92-95) EG civic dont have cross member brace in the front BUT it do have the holes for a cross member brace to bolt on too in which you can buy a after market one or use a stock 94 up integra one.....and for my EG i use the integra cross member brace and it bolt up..fine............maybe you guys are talking about traction bar??...
