I have an Integra which I've done the 9005 headlight conversion, which is putting the highbeam light bulb into the lowbeam socket and you get brighter headlights.

Can something like this be achieved for a 5th gen Accord? Also, I've heard of the JDM sir headlights, are they a direct fit and does anyone have a set in there car on here?

 

all you need to get the sockets for the high beam light and splice them into the low beam wires

 

or just saw off the plastic tab.

 

What's the highbeam bulb for the accord? H4 is the lowbeam, correct?

 

the JDM 1 piece headlights made by stanly dont not directly bolt onto a 5th gen accord. In order to put them in requires madification to your fenders, becasue those lights are about an inch longer than the stock ones. It'd be best to go with the 2 piece depo headlights you see advertised on ebay becasue theyre cheaper and they are a direct bolt in. Otherwise your gonna end up paying to have the JDm lights custom installed.

 

Thanks. I thought I read somewhere that it doesn't fit w/o modification. Does anyone have any close-up pics of the headlights. I have a spare set of headlights that I'd like to play with.
