I just sold my GSR motor from my 94 intergra and swapped it with a 99 Type R Motor. Everything went well and the motor runs great, but I finding a little sway in the front end when I get down the road. Does the Type R motor weigh that much more then my old GSR motor? This topic is also posted in Type R, but I figured there was someone help that help me if you swapped a GSR with a Type R.

PS: By the way, if anyone is interested, I have some left parts from the Type R. 4 to 1 OEM headers (I used DC Sport); Type R OEM ECU (I got an upgrade) and Type R OEM Valve Cover.

 

both engines weigh the same. maybe ur motor mounts are shot.. maybe u forgot to torque them down. check to make sure they aint loose.
