Default Type R Front End Sway

I just sold my GSR motor from my 94 intergra and swapped it with a 99 Type R Motor. Everything went well and the motor runs great, but I finding a little sway in the front end when I get down the road. Does the Type R motor weigh that much more then my old GSR motor?

PS: By the way, if anyone is interested, I have some left parts from the Type R. 4 to 1 OEM headers (I used DC Sport); Type R OEM ECU (I got an upgrade) and Type R OEM Valve Cover.

Default Re: Type R Front End Sway (Injun)

The Type R motor might way a slight bit more (has an 8 counterweighted crank) but it wouldn't be enough to change the handling dynamics of the car...(this weight should be offset by the lighter flywheel). Have you had an alignment lately? Also, check your tire pressures - I know it sounds stoopid, but it can make a HUGE difference in the front end feel.

More importantly, where did you find a 99 ITR motor? Canada? JDM land? Cause USDM ITR's weren't sold in 99...
