How did everyone fit a 92-95 rad. w/ the stock crossmember?
I was seeing how it would fit today, and I see you can saw off the lower rad support and maybe make it lower.....but the cross member would still hold it up. I know some have tilted it a little, which way?
Get a cross member from Place Racing and problem solved.
I saw one guy who did it without one, don't remember how he did it but the radiator sat in a tilted position.

o.k. since I had a turbo on mine the stock 4g rad. was just tooo big but I didn't have the money to get a pace racing or z10 so here's what I did. It is a "HACK" method but it works fine and my rad. is not tilted. Take a cutting wheel and cut your stock mounts off. Now move them from behind the cross member to the front and also you'll have to bang the brackets flat to sit right. Take a welder and weld the new brackets to the front cross member. You'll have to do some cutting to the front but it's nothing inportant that you're cutting. Then just make a custom bracket for the top and make sure the hood closes right. Thats what I did but I only used it as a temp. fix until I get my new PR or Jimi Fab.
mine is tilted, top toward the fire wall, Doesnt really effect anything. Didnt want to comprimise the car by hacking up the x-member. But I wanted to make my turbo fit bad enough
I think that it loooks kinda cool actually....
