Ever since I broke my driver side mount, my 3rd gear has been grinding(only when i shift fast)...I changed the mount yesterday and was hopin that the grinding would go away...but it didn't...any ideas as to what it could be?

Car: EK-22 with M2A4 tranny

 

flush transmission put in honda MTF (manual transmission fluid)

if that dosent fix the grind you probably need your syncro's replaced.

We should start a 3rd gear grind club!

Not only am I member, I'm also the president.

I used MTF, seemed to help, but I also added a little hyper lube, couldn't really tell the difference, I think the hyperlube is too think anyway.

 

time for a new syncrho, welcome to the club, should be called, umm the bitch club

 

its the honda club.
90% will have 3rd gear syncro problems

 

high reving motors=grinding gear box problem

I dunno why they just dont put like 3 syncros on the 3rd gear...
