Default Valve clearences on B16 and B17

Anyone know what these settings are suposed to be set at?

All DOHC VTEC motors are the same and I shoot for the middle of spec at IN 0.007" and EX 0.008"... In metric I shoot for IN ~0.17mm, EX ~0.19... Latez

I usually adjust them to the tight side... I would think this would give slightly more lift, wouldn't it?

Thanks for the info on the specs.

Mr. S
lift cannot be changed without changing the cam profile, by decreasing the valve lash causes the valve to open sooner as well as close earlier.
