The tire compound looks too soft, so if you want a lot of miles out of them. It's not the kind of tire you'd want to get.
IMO, get a set of Kuhmo 711's and be done with it. I bet those things could last you like 1.5 years+ if you rotate and balance them correctly.

how can you tell just by looking at the pics that the compounds too soft?

well if you only need a daily tire, why not get somthing fairly cheap, yet last a while.. like the 711s that were mentioned.. i dont really have experience with lots of other brands, i just stick to the 712s, cuz i get them cheap.
sorry to go OT about other tires. i dont know much about the new nittos, but i have seen them in some mags, would like to get some sort of write-up if anyone has a set.

ES100 is an option for 16s, but the MX is not.
Azenis will raise your Final Drive, and probably rub like crazy depending on your suspension setup.
