when i start the car it stays boging, rpms going up and down just like if it had water in the chamber and when i give it gas it starts choking and dies?? anyone?

dizzie? fuel flow? coil? dirty injectors?

 

i really don't know much about cars, but it would make sense if it was a fuel problem. i mean, you open the throttle, and it bogs right? either fuel or spark. correct me if i'm wrong anybody.

 

ECU throwing any codes? My car does/did that.

I have a code 6 which is the coolant temp sensor under the distributor. That messes up things when you start it, because the temps are so low, and the ECU isn't getting any numbers from that sensor, so it just thinks its at running temperature. The car will stall if I don't give it any gas.

Another problem I had was what I thought the coil or ignitor going bad. Loose wires... This would cause the car to run every now and then and just not fire the rest of the time. Also, when I did get it started, the car would buck violently going down the road.

I hope that helps some... Heh. I would check the dizzy wires just in case, and check the ECU for any codes.
