Default mini me questions?????

i know im a newbi, but ive been reading alot about you guys building mini me's. by puting the si head on the dx block wouldnt it just be the same as buying the jdm d15zc?. and also people say you have to remove the oil jet from the block and people say to just bolt the head on??? could some one who has or had this motor help me out?

what is the d15zc, i know a d15z6 and a d15z1 but the zc seiries is totaly different. well in all reality the si (d15z6) engine is way better than a mini-me, but the mini-me is way cheaper than any swap. but there is more than just the oil jet to worry about. there is vtec wiring, ecu's, high compression, dizzys, t-belt.

once again you need to state the engine you have. i know you are an si but what year si. if it is a 92-95 then you dont really need the y8 head it is not worth it imo. but if you are a crx i would say yes get it. but if your car is already an si then why the hell would you put a weaker dx block in it?
