Anyone got any tips i should know about before I do it? Also, I heard of people whose brake master cylinders leaked after bleeding their brakes.... is this because they pushed the brake pedal too far while bleeding them? TIA

 

Turn your key so your ABS is on when you bleed your brakes. HTH

 

I hear that is the cause to a leaky master cylinder...pushing the brake pedal too far. Try putting a small 2x4 under your brake pedal to keep you from going down too far.

Driver front, passenger front, passenger rear, driver rear. Tap the caliper with a rubber mallet to loosen any stuck bubbles.

Bleed until you think you are done, then bleed some more!

 

r u suppose to have your abs on?

 

ABS is a completely seperate system. Do it with the engine and key OFF.

 

If you spill fluid anywhere, make sure you clean it immediately. Brake fluid eats through paint.
