Default del sol tranny in a LS motor or SI tranny for boosting???

does anyone know if this is possible? I saw somwhere that del sol tranny have the same gear ratio as 99-00 si tranny. I'm trying to see if it will run just as fast as an si tranny in my 01 LS. Or is del sol tranny only cable and that is the reason why ppl don't do it in their integras... Also, I'm wondering if boosting an Si tranny in my LS is a good move or will my short gear put me at a disadvange?

Delsols came with hydro trannies. And if you are talking about mating a Dseries tranny (Delsol Si was equipped a with D16z6) with a Bseries motor. It's not happening...

If you meant a Delsol equipped with the B16a. Then yes it will work, and should theoretically run faster than an LS tranny...

The del Sol VTEC transmission is what you want, as JV said.

if ur boosting and using it as a daily driver stay with the LS. the LS wont red line while traveling on the thruway + with boost u will make up for the longer gearings on the LS

boost + shorter gearings will be better. and what do you mean by red lining while traveling on the thruway? how many mph you talking about?
