Default on the nineth run it said caboom

any body know the life that a 95mm stroke block. non deck plate motor only 13to1 compression and onece i recived the motor it was hard to turn over by hand. motor was never misshifted or shifted higher than 8900 and it still manged to shoot a rod out the side on the nineth pass this happen to a racer in bristol tenn this past weekend any advice the motor was build by vince at golden eagle when i took it apart to see what happen besides the obvius found all the bearing clearence were set to tight. scored all the bearing mains and rods the thrust washer was also damaged i wonder who could be responsable for this just asking

No, if built properly with a deckplate and long rods, a 95mm crank/motor can have a really long life..

even if it's built right to begin with, it can still come apart in high horsepower race situation.Parts breakage isn't always due to install errors.
