Default Which is better Cusco or Neuspeed?

OK I am having troubles deciding what strut bar I want to run I just wanted to know what peolpe thought of the Cusco front and the Neuspeed front strut bars. Which one would you rather have and why?
The Neuspeed isnt adjustable at all while the Cusco is.

So which one??

neither, my vote is ebay front & rear combo for like $40- it will perform almost the same for liek 1/4 of the cost.

Neuspeed is good for 2 reasons, 1. you have DPFI and need something that will clear that abomination sitting in your engine bay or 2. you want something that isn't hinged.

Well first I no longer have DPFI I should change my sig I have the A6 motor in there now. Second the Cusco bar isnt hinged? It has one adjuster right in the middle of it.

neuspeed hands down.

but honestly it doesn't really matter. you should get a sway bar first then you can really tell the difference

I wasn't saying it was, but like 80% of strut bars are. I'm not familar with the Cusco bar. I wasn't talking about you having DPFI, its just look at the design of the Neuspeed bar, its sort of odd shapped to clear the possible DPFI car it might go on.

Yeah I am going to be getting a rear sway bar soon as well. I just found these bar for decent prices and well bought them.

As for the comptech one those are some really meaty bars and look nice but I ahve heard more about Neuspeed and Cusco over them.

I agree with the above poster about sway bars. You'll feel a lot more difference.

Don't get me wrong, I like the old Neuspeed strut braces. I'm talking about the one where its is a 4 prong and in black which I don't think they sell anymore.

I'd go with Cusco cause I've seen in in person and I just like the feel and the quality of it. I don't believe in every strut bar is the same and I don't believe in buy ebay stuff for 40 bucks. First of all I care about my car and I'm not gonna crap out and buy something that sub-standard. And second of all I feel thats selling out. That's why there so much crappy companies out there selling crappy products for Imports cause people are too cheap and they buy it cause they think it's the same thing. Granted some parts aren't cheap like $800 Mugen Valve Covers(Even though I wouln't buy one but if I had extra cash i would) but remember you get what you pay for.

As for Cusco Bars. A lot of my friends use them because they are pretty economical and they fit perfect. I was suprised when my friend had one in the back of his SW20 and it's a bitch to put anything in there. The feel and the build of the quality is pretty obvious from the get go. And Cusco has been around ever since the 80's and that sounds good to me.

Normally I would stay away from adjustable bars and bars that aren't in one piece or have weak welded joint's but Cusco is one of the few companies I would trust in making one that was well built. Besides Cusco makes a lot of supension bits and pieces for the EF chassis and they are a primarily a supsension based company.

You might want to take a look at Benen too

I really like the Neuspeed strut bar. Granted, I don't have any experience w/ the Cusco bar. I've tried the Neuspeed, DC and nasty ebay one. Out of all 3, the Neuspeed bar was the only one where I could feel a difference in. The DC and ebay bars felt the same...like I had nothing at all.

Yeah they still make them and I wasnt trying to say that you didnt like them I was just asking why you suggested Cusco since everyone else is saying Neuspeed. But I think the reason that most people are saying Neuspeed is either they have them or they dont know anything about the Cusco bar.

I must agree though that I do like solid bars bars that arent adjustable which between the 2 would be the Neuspeed but I have also heard a lot of good comments on Cusco and it is a very well built bar. They are a well established company that ahs been around for years but so has Neuspeed. I mean if I want to go the easier route I know the Cusco bar would be the easier of the 2 to install cause of the adjustment but I doint think the Neuspeed is going to be that bad or anything either.

I think my best bet is do what Keith suggested and try out both of them and see which one I like better. But I have also heard that a strut bar is a strut bar and some people say you wont notice a difference between and Ebay strut bar and like say the Cusco bar? I find that hard to beleive but yet I dont have much experience with strut bars period which is the point of this thread!!

Well thanks everyone for you opinions and if anyone else has something to add feel free.
