brakes in the rain
Yesterday the Boston area got doused with some serious rain in a short amount of time. (conveniently approx 5:30pm). On the drive home from work, I had to drive through some high water that came up to the floor on my '02 Coupe SE (stock suspension).
After getting through the water, I noticed that my brakes were totally and completely soaked. Is there a proper method of drying them out? Should i worry about water getting trapped in the rear drums?
A few years ago I went through what looked like a small puddle too fast and ended up flooding and stalling the engine of my 91 Camry. After getting the engine dried out and a tune-up done, it worked fine.
I was thinking about lowering my Accord 1-1.5 inches.. but yesterday's rain may be a significant deterrent since I had water get so close to the body of the car.
Thoughts?

I've had *wet* brakes before, but never where they were soaked like this. Maybe I'm having a tough time letting go that my baby is growing out of the initial year.
