just go to the ef-1 forums and post questions

rocket is very good at answering questions and you have hybrid_hatch or bob-dc2 answering questions as well, we'll be getting our hands on a set of cams soon and cant wait to dyno the sucker w00t

i'm buying cams pretty soon and TODA's seem like a good reliable choice, but if these EF-1's are better, i'll go with those, i just need some info on them from people that have used them or currently using them...

here are my plans....

Agreed. I think it would be wise for sales reasons if EF-1 could get some dyno numbers, comparing various EF-1 cams to the popular alternatives, Toda B's, Jun III's, Skunk2 Stage1's, CTR's, etc. I too would consider these cams in the near future, but I can't find any difinitive dyno numbers or proof that they are comperable or superior.

The "Jun Killers" are pretty big. Wouldn't you have to have EVEN higher compression to utilize those to their potential? Or with the same compression, it would still yield more power then jun 3's?

Unless the comparison is done in the exact same car with the exact same set-up and tuned by the exact same shop the numbers would be misleading and possibly biased depending on who wanted what cam to SEEM like the better alternative.

agreed... most of the dyno plots I've seen on the net are from "simiar" set up cars... but even with the same car you'd still have issues such as heat, humidity, etc... I don't think that there is really ever a 100% accurate way to compare parts.

TODA and JUN's are not with out there problems. Toda A, B, C profiles are very harsh on the valve train. The ef-1 profiles are decently smooth for race profiles and can be taken to high rpms without causing most aftermarket springs to bounce.

However the availability of our cams is excruciately slow. If you want a non ef-1 cam that is a really good cam and is available PM and I'll tell what cam that is.

Yeah, I am going to build myself a 2L BVTEC test mule and test all cams I can get my hands on. Everyting from m20 to m25's and all competitors.

I need help finding a EF hatch as my test mule.
