If i was to put a si head on my lil brothers ef9 which is a dx what else woul i need to make it run properly
or could i put the head on there place his old ditrib back on the and his DPI and run off the dx ecu and id be fine right?

 

Yes the heads are alomost identical there is a little difference in the cams though. But yeah if you put the Si head on it and then bolted everything onto it it would be just fine.....Why dont you pick up everything to do a DPFI to MPFI swap though if you are doing all of that work swapping heads?? If you need more info use the search button in the upper right hand corner there have been tons of topics on this and the MPFI swap.

 

A Si head swap and mostly MPFI swap on a DX motor will boost top end power GREATLY !!! Only thing that gave me more power than the MPFI swap was the 75shot... hehe.
