I was wondering that if i put a z6 or y8 head on the d15 block, since its an auto, will the head havta be from an auto?

Nope it shouldnt make a difference. THe head has nothing to do with the tranny. but you probably need to change your ecu if you change the head and in that case you will need to get the auto ecu that matches the head so you dont have fuel issues.

Yes it will. Its practically the same block. I've seen a couple people break 300 whp on a D15, it can handle an extra 30 hp...

 

yep...i have an EG mini-me z6 head write-up in my signature...just make sure you get the auto ECU as stated above
