i just went back to the drawing board because i just bought a set of 90mm pistons and found out that they wont even work as a daily driver setup. (weisco 90mm w/out rings willing to let go for 550+shipping) i want the biggest bore i can stick in a b16 sir2 with the most compression on pumped gas and safe to drive on an everyday bases without alot of internal mods. can u give hp #s too

ok listen to me before you do something stupid again
if you really wanna make some power you need to also look at that crank in that b16 you can up the bore to increase th cc but if you combind a say b20/b18 crank and a sleeve to about 85-for daily driver no problems and up to 87 might have problems with the head gasket sealing you will have way more power that just a b16 crank with a 90mm bore right ----------------> go read my other post for you in your other topic 90mm/ and take alook at mine or someone elses b20/vtec setup in are profiles

We've talked a ton about this lately.. Though there is tons of debate. I would still say DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE> 13:1 is possible.

 

Who the heck advised you to purchase 90mm pistons? I'll be running 85mm 12.1:1 Arias' in my B16A. Sunoco 94 and Hondata. In N/A apps you can get away with 86-87 and 13:1 on 94octane and TONS-O-TUNING.

I know you bought pistons that are already huge for a H22 motor for a b16a First off is your motor sleeved?Just something to think about when you buy pistons over 82mm.
