I'm supercharging my H22A. I need some opinions on what clutch to use. I've been offered an Exedy racing clutch. Any thoughts. Thanks
My friends sell tons of ACT and they've got pretty much all the stages for every application. It doesn't cost much either and they're reliable as hell.
I use a exedy racing clutch for my boosted h22. It has held fine for 2 years so far and I just took it off last saturday to inspect something in the tranny, and it still looked great. I am running 9psi, and it holds strong

friend runs one on his boosted civic ex. Seems to hold pretty well. It feels really good also.
I ran a ACT street strip clutch in the lude though.

Thanks for the help. I ordered my Exedy racing clutch. We shall see how it works for my soon to be supercharged H22A Accord.
I run an exedy full face organic clutch and I roasted it with a 5k launch and a 65 shot. I was going about 50 mph in 5th gear by the time I got to the end of the track. However it held fine off of the bottle with the 5k launch and it held fine with the bottle and a 3k launch.
I figure screw it. I'm going ACT or clutchmasters.

The Exedy organic feels stock. It won't be overkill.

IT FEELS STOCK, BUT HOW WELL DOES IT GRAB? IS THIS ORGANIC EXEDY GONNA LAST? BASED ON LIKE CM STAGES, WHAT WOULD U CONSIDER THE EXEDY ORGANIC CLUTCH TO BE?LIKE A STAGE 2?
Shut your caps off skippy.
The exedy is great for roadracing and autocross, but I wouldn't use it for drag racing if you are putting out 200 whp or more.
Edit: You can slip this clutch very easily. It is basically a more durable stock clutch.
