Default Fuel Rail/Air Intake

I was looking at exhausts and I thought that I really didn't want to spend all that money on one when I don't even know how long I'll have the car. So I was looking at fuel rails, and I don't know what they do, but I know that my cousin had one on his Eclipse. So I think that I'm gonna get an air intake for under $150, and an AEM fuel rail. I was kind of thinkin about the AEM short-ram, but what do you think is best for under $150? Thanks, Stefan

send me the money instead and you will get the exact same HP gain as you would if you got a fuel rail...

in all seriousness, don't speed money just to spend money. An aftermarket fuel rail is designed to support the volume of a very heavily modifed fuel system. Your car does not have one, nor does it need one. Get an intake and some pullies or something.

unless you have a lot of mods getting a fuel rail wont real be beneficial to you

OK, so for under $300 what mods should I make. What would be the most beneficial for a not heavily modded car?

I said it before, and I will say it again, aftermarket is not always better. Get a header, high flow cat, and cat-back exhaust. That is ALL that is needed. I will probably get a OEM Type S air instake box later. But that is IT!!

Don't waste your money modding your car just to say you modded the car. You will not see any gains.
