Default wanked by new suspension ... halfshaft popped out of tranny

putting on new struts and springs on the 94 vtec lude, and we removed the upper control arm. now, the upper control arm will not return to its original position. i need to know how to put it back. here are some pics.


just found out that the halfshaft popped out of the tranny. how the hell do we go about fixing this little mess?

If you can't get the inner part to rotate to the correct angle to go back in, loosen the pivot bolts a little. Make sure to re-tighten them once it is back in place. I could not get a torque wrench in the space there after installing the inner part so I just went to what felt right. Not ideal, but it worked.

The old Accords had the same setup. I remember doing **** in suspension and having that problem too.

I can't remember what I did, but you need to use some muscles and get it back in those holes just barely, and have your friend start threading the nut on it. Maybe even set a jack under the disc and jack it up.

If the axle popped out, take off the axle nut, swing the hub/ knuckle assembly aside, and push the axle back in, so it clicks back into place.
