Default tranny ? pls hep......

will a 91 ls tranny fit into my old s1 clutch disc and pressure plate??

I dont have any experiance with it, but I think the LS my either have a bigger input shaft and/or more splines on the input shaft, but ont quote me on this.

yes it will. JDM Cable b-series trannies Y1/S1/J1 are the equivalent to 90-91 Integra trannies (A1/S1/J1). they all use the same clutch disks and pressure plates.

92-93 GSR/LS YS1 trannies and JDM YS1 trannies have larger splines on the counter/input shaft and 90-91 clutch disks will not work with these trannies however.

my problem is the lever on the tranny is really easy to move up and down.. i checked the trow-out bearing and spring.... i dont know what else to check?? it feels like the throw out bearing is not reaching the pressure plate... i could move the lever with my hand easily..... any suggestions????

When I had my tranny out my lever would move very easy as well, and there is nothing wrong with my tranny. Is the TO bearing moving back in once you let the lever go? If the full range of motion there? If so, then I don't think it's a problem.
