Default CDN ITR in US?

hmm yesterday i was on my way towards the 405 fwy in HB...im at a light and i notice a white ITR on the other side turning...i think its a 98 or 97 but i look closely at it...it had the gunmetals and paint looked as if it was straight from the factory. I didnt get a chance to see the seats though. Hmmm anyone else see something like this?

I didn't see it, but I talked to the dealer about bringing one to the states and its a pain the ***. I got a price of about $25,000 after taxes and ac. Then you still have to pay a U.S. tax. On top of that you have to buy a warranty from a dealership in the US. In my mind just not worth it. It would have cost bye the end about $28grand.

28 grand out the door? That's the amount people pay for 2k1's out the door including markups and what not.

The R is a great car but I think thats a bit much when you could get them up there for like 23000. Just dont think its worth the extra 5grand. Just my .02

The gunmetal wheels only came on the 2000 Phoenix Yellow ITRs.

All Canadian CW ITRs came with white wheels. PY ITRs were only available for model year 2000 and were the only ones to get the gunmetal wheels. So they're kinda rare here. There's probably a lot of guys willing to trade their white rims for grey ones.
