Default please help me picture faults on the es trailing arm bushing

i understand the part.. about it not rotating freely but I need more explanation on where people say that the metal pin is free to move around inside the bushing. I see how the pin is free to move around.. but that itself does not dictate whether or not it will affect toe measurements in the rears. In my opinion, i believe that it should be able to slide slightly, as since the purpose of the bushing is not for alignment. the upper arm (that u adjust for alignment) and the lower control arm and the upper arm (the one that you adjust camber with)is what holds the trailing arm and it those are the 3 and the only 3 things that really affect alignment on your car. Since the metal pin is free to move around the es trailing arm bushing (but will not move it), it is being moved with respect to the three arms that i mentioned above. so basically, the metal pin is free to move around depending on those 3 arms, and since it moves accordingly to those 3 arms only, it cannot be blamed that that one single bushing can affect your rear alignment
let's try one more time.. let's say you have your car aligned, where those 2 upper arms are bolted onto the chassis, and the LCA bolted onto the trailing arm. Those three arms is what determines your alignment, and your es bushing will move only according to what those settings are. I believe that when people take pictures of the bushing that has shifted, I dont believe it is the bushings fault, but rather just that you need an alignemtn since your upper arm (is that what it's called, the one bolted to the chassis, but not the camber adjustment arm) is off.
