will I lose power????
i disconnected the 02 sensor completly from the harness.(the one ahead of the cat.) I was wondering if i was gonna lose power b/c of this. also does anyone have a wire diagram fior this sensor.? i was looking around but nothing came up. thanx.
It wont go into limp mode because of the secondary O2 sensor...However, it may throw a code.
Edit: Oops...misread the post...You would go into limp mode if it is the Primary O2 sensor...

That's how I interpreted it.

Yes, you will run very rich and the timing will be retarded several degrees if not more.
You can unplug the secondary o2 (in the cat) with no adverse effects (if you are using a test pipe as an example) except CEL 67. You cannot unplug the primary o2 and expect everything to be as it was before.
Reconnect it. It was a really bad idea.

Oops, my mistake, I saw cat and assumed you were referring to the secondary sensor. If it's the primary, you'll be in "limp," if it's the secondary, you won't.

Which is the equivalent of being at WOT all the time, correct? (i.e., dumping fuel)
