Default 1990 Honda Civic Wagon 2WD

Hi everyone, I have a few questions about this wagon. I want to put up either KYBs or Tokicos, but I don't know what springs I should use. Also, I want to get some 17 or 18" rims for it, but it is gonna work since the rear wheels are drums instead of disks? If drums don't work, how much work/cost is it to change from drums to disks? I'm also interested in getting a B16 for the wagon. Any advice, sent it my way. Thanks

Hello and welcome to Honda Tech. First of all 17's or 18's are WAY TO BIG for our cars. It will look like a 4x4. I myself wouldn't go with anything bigger than a 15 but some members run 16's. As far as the drum go you do not need to switch them out for disc's just to run rims. Unless you are going to autoX I would just keep the rear drums as they do work well. A b16 swap is a good and common swap. I suggest using the search function here at HT and you will learn a lot.

the wagon's suspension owns all civic suspensions, the rear is completely different than the other civics. from what i know you can use any civic 3dr/4dr suspension setup but you've also got to use the sprnigs used in the 3dr 4dr car. not too bad if you're getting aftermarket springs. rear disk swap is all but impossible, yoshi on this board did a rear disk swap but it was by no means plug and play, i believe lots of cutting and welding etc. g/l

ohh i also would reccomnd going for the b18, the b16 has just as much torque as the d16 and it sucks, even though the 2wd wagon is a light car its not as light as the other civics. something like ~2100lbs

so this means I can get some KYB or Tokicos that is fitted for 88-91 civic HB/Sedan and some Eibach spring for 88/91 civics? If it can be done...it'd be awesome.
