Using OBD1 oxygen sensor on CRX?

Yes, sure you can, but it requires more wiring.
The four wire O2 sensor works like this.
One wire provides 12 volts DC ( the ECU monitors this wire on OBD1 cars and it knows if you disconnected it)
Another wire sends the O2 sensor signal to the ECU.
And then there are two grounds.
I would not bother trying to use it. Go to a local auto parts store and get the Bosh $20 single wire O2 sensor.

i meant to include i have a one wire 02 sensor i could offer in as a partial trade

What he meant was can he use Cx oxygen sensor OBD1 with a 88 crx with obdo engine being from a cx but running on obd0 ..... it keeps getting code 1 for oxygen sensor and check engine lights....
