I have a b20b block with a b16 head all stock internals except for a ctr intake cam. What do you guys think my compression will be around. I want to know so that i can get an idea of what nitrous shot would be reasonable for my motor.
Stock hottom??
Hmm I don't know much about b20/vtecs yet, but from what I've read with friends that are plannin on doing one the stock bottome end don't handle the 8k redlines...the rods are fine, just the sleeves tend to crack.....just FYI!!

WERD!!! What he said is true. Here is a link to help you out. http://www.b20vtec.com/b20sleeves.html
Also before reving high I would check into getting some ARP rod bolts and maybe upgrading the Valve train.
Deffinatly would want to get the block resleaved before adding Nitrous though. You will deffinatly see problems in the future otherwise.
But to answer your question I believe the compression with a B16 head and stock pistons it should be roughly the same as stock either 9.6:1 of 9.8:1 I forget wich. C Speed's site will definatly help you to determine exatcly what the CR should be.
