Default Rod Ratio.... rods in motors

i know that the b18b has a shorter rod than the b18c... can you run the b18b rod in the gsr block... since it has a shorter rod, i would assume that it would lower the CR... anyone know anything bout this...

thanks

You can't swap the rods because the B18C1 has a rod width of 0.858" and the B18A/B has a rod width of 0.935".

Why would you want to lower the compression on a B18C1 anyway??? Even if you have a turbo, the way to prevent detonation would be through superior engine management (IE a Unichip or Hondata).
