What the heck is a.....

Spool valve and is it something needed to be replaced when pulling the head? Also on my parts estimate was a Oil Seal (29x43x8) and Seal, R. Cyl HD. The reason I ask is because these items were listed seperate from the top end gasket kit on my dealer parts estimate for replacing my exhaust valves. I figured what ever that right cylinder head seal is would be included in that. I'm going to do it myself but I'm just making sure I'm not missing something.

spool valve is another term for the vtec solenoid.

Those 29x43x8 oil seals might be the camshaft seals just behind the cam gears. Probably qty=2 and cost around $5.00 a piece.

Those things are not necessary. They are probably just trying to make money.
