Default Small cracks on the crank

Well while installing my CTR pistons (PITA) I noticed that I have a few of what apears to be small cracks in the crank shaft.

Is this normal? Or is my motor on the way out?

I guarentee you it's not a scratch. You can put your finger nail in it. Maybe a small feeler gauge.

Well **** beans if it's going to blow up. If the crank is going to snap. It better sling ******* rods every where. This piston install is ******* killin me. IMO, I think len sold me the wrong set of rings!

Where's the crack at? Counterweight, journal, or at a joint b/w the two?

And, what's holding you up with putting the pistons in the bores?

Standard or factory overbore?

What are your piston ring end gaps?

What's the part number on the piston ring package? Or, is there a 25 stamped on the top two rings?

Are all the rings making it into the ring compressor before you start tapping the piston down into the bore?

Be very careful putting in the pistons. I bent a oil control ring, ( the second one ) while installing my pistons and did'nt find out till I was smoking up a storm. Reccomend getting a good ring compressor, the funnel type, that has a specific size, not a universal metal clamp type that you see at your local autoparts store.
