has any1 got there eclipse deck back cuz of the ESN? i had a sticker of it sayign it will be electronicly be traced..true or not? cuz i didnt activate the ESN on my deck...

 

its not true that they can locate it. i have never heard of anyone getting it stolen and then use ESN to retrieve it. ESN is a system where u program something to a disc it will read it. the head unit will then recognize the program and then allow it to work. i believe u can program it so have to enter a code for it to work

i do know that the first year of the warranty, if the radio was to get stolen, it will be replaced with a new if they cant find it. this warranty only comes from buying from an authorized dealer

I had mine stolen and unfortunately it wasn't registered under my name. That'd be messed up if someone else got it back.

 

i had my first eclipse deck lock up on me and i had to call in to get it unlock they was able to come pertty damn close to my location

 

Weird...I know they lock up when you don't put in the right disc, so I laughed at whoever took mine, but it still sucks.
