Default swapping valve springs

OK here's the deal...

I installed a reground Delta cam in my F22A1 a little while ago... and it pulls all the way to the stock fuel cut... So I'd like to upgrade the valvetrain to rev that high without floating/binding the OEM springs...

I noticed that Ferrea uses the exact same part # for dual springs/retainers/loctaors on the F/H/B series... so that got me wondering if other brand springs might be swappable... I didn't get the chance to call Ferrea or Crower today to talk to them but I did talk to a local CNC/Head Porting shop and I was told that it is doable... but without exact specs on my F series springs I'd have to bring my head in to take measurements... But if the specs were close enough I could use ITR outer springs and Portflow inners/retainers and/or H series springs might be close enough...

I know there are a handful of guys on this forum that have upgraded their valvetrains... So I'd love to hear from them... Basically since I'm trying to do this on a budget I'm going to find a combination that works with minimal customizing...
I'm trying to acquire some OEM H springs/retainers just to compare to the F springs...

But does this sound feasible??? I realize that I won't know for sure until I try...and a lot of people are going to say, "no, it won't work" without any actual experience... but I don't think I'm the first one to think of this and I hope someone out there has tried something similar...

Anyone?

try going to a honda dealer and compare valves between the H & F. I bet you find its the same length and stem diameter.. or close enough that you could make it work. I do believe, however, the H series have BIGGER valves (seat).. but thats trivia at that point.

I don't think I'm the first to think of this...

I went with the Ferrea springs/locators/retainers. If you go that route, I would go with their "endurance" springs. I was running their standard springs and broke one; bent the rocker arm in the process. They stood behind their product, but said that they would recommend the "endurance springs" for our application.
