I know that many H-T members and I have been looking for a Spoon-style front lip in either urethane or ABS plastic. I e-mailed ABS Dynamics Corp about it to see if they have any plans. Here's what they said:

Hi:

Thank you for you interest in our product.

We will have the spoon lip coming out soon in two months.

Please wait a little bit more.

I hope they stay true to their word! I don't know why companies haven't come out with plastic Spoon knock-offs sooner.

 

i would be interested in a urethane one... nothing else, so it wont break on me .. again.

 

it wouldnt be a spoon lip now would it (being its not CF)

Good thing I put "Spoon-style" in the message. Oh, and ABS plastic is just as good as urethane, so it should be able to stand up to the abuse just as good as urethane lips.

 

I'm down for an Integra Spoon-style lip

 

this is great news, you should e-mail them back and find out approximately how much it will cost.

I asked them in my original e-mail I sent to them, but I guess they haven't figured out pricing yet. So they sent me that very brief response instead, LOL. But I'm sure it won't be too expensive. Their other **** seems pretty cheap.

 

maybe ill stop spending so much on c/f lips i break in under a year everytime!

i dont drive my car so my CF lip wont break

 

will you be able to buy it directly from them or do you have to purchase them from a retailer?

not exactly, abs cracks like ****.
they are not the same abs material the dealer use for spoiler or oem lip, the made in taiwan one is much more like hard plastic.

probably dont get too exciting..they still telling me they will have a side skirt for my car(because four door wont fit my coupe) about half year now..

so the next shipment for me never came

but i can't talk **** about their stuff, because they are so cheap.

i rewrote the ABS guys again to see if they ever brought out the spoon style lips. i think the original email may have been wrote back in 7/2003. that should be enough time from the 2 months they said it would come out. ill keep you guys posted.
