Default p29 OE pistons vs. carparts.com pistons?

So...

I'm out shopping for parts to put together a high compression d16y8.

I'm looking at some p29 pistons.

Found them at http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org:
- pistons ~ $175 / set
- rings ~ $100 / set

Compared to the following parts on carparts.com:
- pistons: ~ $70 / set
- rings: ~ $70 / set

carparts.com pistons are 'Beck / Arnley'

So, is this a case of 'you get what you pay for' or a case of 'the dealer buys those same pistons and then resells them to you at an unreasonable markup?'

Oh, and could someone recommend a good piston ring brand?
