Hi, I own a '91 CRX Si. There is one thing that really bothers me: my front bumper. It seems like
every single CRX Si that I have seen has its bumper painted on top and the color matches the color of the car. My CRX is red, but my bumper is all black and it doesn't have any signs of previous paint job. It pisses me off, because my car does look funny... Is my bumper from and older CRX or what? well i got a 91 crx si, too, mines is black though. but hte bottom half of the bumper is flat platic black, the rest is glossy black, i would say if your side skirts adn trim are black then i think thats the way it came. Most people get the trim painted.

 

dosent look right to me the top part of the bumper should be red and the bottom trim black

 

Dude- Someone replaced or painted your bumper in the past. The front bumper's paint should match the scheme of the rear and most of the other CRX Sis you are seeing on the road. Not a big deal, get it painted...

 

yea its cool dood its been replaced...guy before u probably hit a cat or dog at high speeds...

 

I was wondering, can i put a 90-91 CRX Si bumper on my 89 Si? I like the lower scoops on the bottom fascia of the newer bumpers, just wondering could i just replace that bottom black piece instead of the whole bumper..any info would be nice

 

It should bolt right up, but you would have to get the whole bumper.

 

He hit my Cow, but just gett it painted.
