slammed/dumped cars, inner fender liner rub?
i used to have my car pretty low and i liked the drop. However my inner fender liner was rubbing pretty bad up to the point where the tires rubbed the plastic off and i was rubbing bare metal at one spot. To you guys with slammed cars, how'd you guys get passed that? i was afraid the metal would go through my tires if i kept on driving around like that so i raised it.. now its too high.
ps. dont give me lectures about how i shouldnt lower my car so low because i'm aware of all that. Just asking for advice thats all.

I had a friend who had his EG hatch dumped on some 16's and it rode alright but one day he was angling out of a steep driveway and his tire popped his fender outwards. It was weird. We had to knock the fender back in, but it was all creased up.
you can dum your car as low as u can just get skinny tire try not to go wide tiress...i think stock rim and tire is good......
here is my drop. (damn tire worn out so much)

when i dropped my teg, i took a rubber hammer and (CAREFULLY) straightened out the liner in the back, and then bent the parts that jut out up, so i dont rub at all anymore.

thats a good idea. Is the metal that flimsy? why would you need to be careful and use a rubber hammer? just curious thats all.

It's better to use a rubber hammer, so it won't chip the paint. If the paint chips you might get some rust on there.

so pretty much if u have 16's on and EG thats moderatly lowered to look nice and handle well theres no way ur not gonna rub unless u beat the **** out of ur fender....****. i guess im rollin with 15's till i figure somthin else out...
