if by canister, you mean like the Apex'i N1, Tanabe racing medallion etc, I'd vote for that. But the muffler ones like the GReddy SP look more lowkey though. Depends on what ya like...and how loud you like it

 

For the street regular def... keep it low key, not only in terms of noise but attention too!

 

My vote goes for the lowkey regular muffler style such as the apexi world sport, greddy sp & tanabe hyper spec

I think it depends on the car.
Some cars just don't look right with a canister.

That's a good point. For instance, on Civic coupes/sedans, I think canister-style mufflers look goofy. However, on hatches I think they look pretty nice.

that's exactly what i was thinking!

 

Cannister style looks really nice, but attracts the cops attention too easily I think.
Depending on where you live, is how you want to make the choice.
I kinda dig cannister style tho.

I ran open header for one day. I think my ear is still ringing from that.
I like the canister look.
Espelir exhaust.

 

A cut out ( race ready ) right before the muffler. Cap it up when you don't want a sound, and keep a stock look. Lol..or just keep it stock..

 

i'm back on stock exhuast after having a canister exhuast.... at first switching back to stock was awfully retarded, but actually am enjoying it now because it's soo much quieter..... i could hear my radio loud and clear, and i could hear all the conversations happening in the car...

not to mention my stock exhuast rattles in the upper RPM's because it's partially gutted~!!!

 

Anyone knows of an online site that sells the Espelir exhaust for my Prelude?

 

"regular style" mufflers like the WS, and DC Sport (as seen here) look the best, IMO.
