IMO, for the price its going for, no. Any cheaper CAI should be sufficient for most needs. There are fairly moderately priced CAI's w/ a CARB E/O sticker too if you live in CA

No. Because even if you build an all motor car, your going to be wanting a customized intake anyway for a whole ton of reasons.....and you won't get "major power from bolt ons".....so that leaves the turbo, nitrous, and supercharger route, and guess what...well, the turbo will eliminate the turbo, the nitrous will eliminate the problem of a whopping 1ft-lb gain over the regular AEM or any intake for that matter......and the supercharger will not want a cold air intake for optimum power.

So the AEM V2 is a great piece of engineering, but is it worth it? Heck no....unless you just want to do ONE single mod, and nothing else, it's far from ever going to be worth the price tag.
