DIY PISTONS
stock or aftermarket?
stock, im not too sure but the rods (and pistons?) have to be heated (so that it expands) and the pins pushed through.
aftermarket pistons have pin locks that locks the pins onto the pistons.
if you wanna use aftermarket rods and OEM pistons you have to machine a pin locks in your OEM pistons and shorten your pins...

What are you sorry for? I put ctr pistons on my b16a rods without a press. I just had to freeze the pins in the freezer and heat up the rods with a blowtrouch then you can put them through. It might take a socket the size of the pin and a hammer but they go through easy. My pistons came out perfect so don't waste your money on having a machine shop do it.

Unbeliable, this is the correct way to do it, but you can just put the rods in the oven and let it warm up, do it carefully.
BTW: make sure the sign that points to the front on the engine in the rod is at the same direction as the one in the piston.

Who charges $250 to take off pistons and put on new ones?!?!?!?!!
We charge $5 to remove and $5 to press on every piston. So a total of $40
