hey w'sup everyone. i'm a LCpl in the Marines and i will be going to japan REALLY soon. i want to know from those who have brought one over to the states, how did you get it over here? wut all did you go through to get it registered and street legal? i would REALLY like to bring one back over when i come back to the states, but i hear theres a lotta red tape around the whole process (thus motorex charges like $80G for a $50G car). anyone with any useful/helpful info, please post. thanks for all comments.

 

You might be better off going with an importer from the start. Best of luck with your travels to Japan.

I understand there are two DC5R's in Calif. I believe one is owned by Computer Goddess on ClubRSX so I guess it can be done. You should check that forum and report back (hehehe).
