Default dpfi to mpfi conversion question..

sorry to bother but i don't understand.what stock dx parts can i keep?wiring harness?if so can i pick my dx distriubutor? thanx in advance

you can keep your stock DX wiring harness. you need to add two wires to the dizzy and two wires for the injectors. you need all this stuff from an Si
resistor

And the 1 thing everyone forgets to tell you, so I'm gonna tell you. Get intake mani BRACKET! And the engine harness too.You don't need the whole harness but, YOU NEED ALL the plugs and connectors.

I am in the middle of this right now what plugs do you need off the SI dizzy?

also why is the intake manifold braket so important.

For the distributor plugs,it is nice to have the one off of an Si engine harness,
Otherwise, you can use the DX distributor plug placed onto the Si distributor..

The intake manifold bracket provides extra support to hold up the manifold,
you could probably get by without it but I would not advise it..

Without it,the intake could be stressed and crack or could be broken
in the event of an accident..
