they sorta look like racing harts but i dont recall the colored hub.

off topic.. but whenever i read threads starting with "what kind of wheels are these" my gut expectation is to see a the first poster reply "ugly ones".

maybe ive am on here too long. hehee

 

Yeah, they were available with silver, red, or blue center caps back in the day.

yeah, type-c's they had the color cap/bolt option and a cotter pin through the center cap

theres a couple of knock off brands out there, i think Tenzo has a knock off of this wheel...

Nope, the ones on the CRX are the old school OG Racing Hart Type-C's. Real deal made in Japan wheels. The Racing Hart Type C2 3 piece that came out later were made in some third world country crap *** wheels trying to capitalize on the popularity of the original wheel and the Racing Hart name but with shoddy construction. Still looked good though, but...*shrug* Oh, and the wheel posted above this post is the C2 Evolution, not the C2. C2 was 3-piece. C2 Evo was 1 piece.

 

they are OLD SKOO racing harts type c's BEFORE the c2 ever came around

 

so my chances of getting these are pretty slim, eh
