Default My experiences with onlinecarstereo.com

Has been horrible.

My first experience was last July and I tried ordering an Alpine head unit. It was located on their website and could be ordered, so I did, along with a unit for my sister. Well, they charged my credit card for my sisters unit and failed to to inform me that they wouldn't be sending me the unit I requested. I finally called them after a week to ask when I could expect shipment and they said there wouldn't be a shipment because they didn't have it in stock. Strike #1.

So, after that fiasco, I ordered another Alpine unit, the CDA-7998 - right when it came out. After a few months, it began to get stuck in the "CD Open" position. So, I sent it in for warranty work; that took 2 months all said and done and there supposedly wasn't anything wrong, but it still does it. Also, upon shipment back, they didn't include the remote and owner's manual I included with it and they've been very unresponsive to my request for new ones saying they've "had difficulty locating" new ones. It was also poorly bundled with the head unit sliding around in the original box with no support. I'm currently trying to get a refund or new unit since this one is ****, but that doesn't lok possible.

I'll never be doing business with them again. for onlinecarstereo.com

I have, however, had good luck with the following businesses:
http://www.thezeb.com
http://www.autotoys.com
http://www.ikesound.com/

I just bought a Clarion head unit from them and was very satisfied, got my package within 3 buisiness days of ordering, and a great price :shrugs:

sucks that you got jerked around, but so far I am happy with them

They're not bad if they're in stock and you don't deal with their customer service. But like I said, I'm staying away from 'em.

AH here Ya!

I would be pissed if that **** happend to me too, **** happens

I actually have been out of the car audio sceen for like the last 6 years, just stumbled apon them, and happened to need a CD player, so I bought it... then after installing the new CD player, the bug started biting

so Today I headed over to the shop I used to work with, and even for at busy times, and he totaly hooked me up, basically at cost so I am set (to waist a lot of money I need for my race car ) I got a pair of MMATS pro series Coax, and they are infukincredible!! even being driven off my head unit (now I gotta get an amp, and some calamyne for the Bite ) they are punchy too, as well as crystal clear, and loud!!

come to think of it I may just have to write a review for them, I never heard such a great Coaxial speaker.

anywho, I am rambling, and thread jacking away... sorry

but I may post up a detailed review later on if anyone cares
