Honing Oil - Rehoning procedure
I'm about to finish up the install on my block.
However, I need to know what type of honing oil is used. I searched and ATF was slightly mentioned. Will StunnaZone ATF brand work just as well? Or should I hit up the Honda Brand ATF?
If somone wouldn't mind guiding me through the aplication process of putting ATF on. I dont want to keep glazing the walls.
Also. Double Check me on this guys..
Up / Down Motion. Doesn't take long. 60 Degree Cross Hatch pattern just to break the glaze off the walls.
Then after I wash the cylinders out, do I imediatly hit it with some WD 40 to keep it from rusting? Or jsut leave it bear metal? (i'm thinking WD 40)

i just douse the hone in engine oil and hone away. I know people that use ATF too, either way its good. I hear the ATF is better cuz you can tell when you've gotten the proper wall texture or whatever you wanna call it
