Cleaning/removing corrosion on the inside of wheels?
My new set of used OEM wheels have nasty corrosion on the inside of the wheel. Is there any easy way to remove it? I have used a wire brush and a drill to clean away the really superficial stuff, but some seems really deep. I dont want to sand/go deep for the sake of wheel integrity and balance. How do I clean the corrosion like that?
or would i be ok to just clean them and spray sandable primer + clear coats over them? would the corrosion still wear under the layer of paint?
My goal is to remove it if possible and prevent it from forming after I install these wheels.
