Well i want the doors and the trunk lid and the tail lights off of it. and a few other things. But what i want to know. Besides the seat belt deal, can I use the 88 door, on my 89 crx SI??

You wont have any problems with the hatch or the tail lights.
I believe that you cant use the doors that DONT have the seatbelts in the doors cause I think the doors themselves are different lengths. Someone correct me if I am wrong??

 

your wrong lol!i did it with my crx i went to the doors with no belts.although illegal in all 50 states they will fit.an easy way to tell if your crx is an 88 or 89. look at the rear lower control arm where it bolts to the strut.if the control has a hole cut out of it and the strut goes in the hole u have an 88 if the strut has a bracket that goes over the solid lower control arm u have an 89.

 

Can the seat belts be used?? My car is already gutted, except for like the top and stuff. it is an 88. Basically When I'm done my car will look like a panda bear, literally. I'll keep ya inform. By the way do you have pics??

 

unless u do a custom belt set up.personally i have 4 pt belts.sorry i dont have pics. but i dont recommend u do it unless u have a seat belt setup figured out already.cause if u get pulled over with out some belt setup the cops will invalidate your inspection and are able to take ur car
